Some children like Football/Basketball as a game only, but some children love it very much. If your child is one of them (who loves this game very much) then you can arrange his room, based on Football/Basketball related things. These are as under:
• If you want to arrange his bedroom based on football/basketball related things, then firstly you have to paint your child’s floor according to Football/Basketball court. It will give his room the resemblance of a football/basketball court.
• Secondly, you have to prepare the walls of the child’s bedroom. For this you can put paint on the wall with your child’s favorite color and then you can put Posters of his favorite Basketball/Football player’s on the wall. You can also write the names of his favorite players, number of their teams or related things, on the wall with paint.

• You can use some crafty things in shape of ball to make the room more impressive.
• You can make the curtains of his room with different colors taken from the flags of his favorite teams.
• If his bedroom has shortage of space than you can make locker type cupboards in his room. In these locker type cupboards he can store his extra things.

If Jurassic and dinosaurs period fascinates your child, then it is good to have a pre-historical theme for your child’s bedroom.

Starting from the kid’s room walls, their paint should be sand textured give a look of cave to his/ her bedroom. You can throw a shadow on the walls by throwing light on the drawings. As the room represents ancient age of stone, the furniture should be simple. Opt for simple bed, table dressers etc. Faux spray paint of stone spray will give look of ancient times. These paints are easily available at paint and hardware stores. For durability you can apply a few coats of polyurethane too. You can also add stone furniture like stone bench and table for seating.

Besides all this small accessories are also part of your kid’s room. Add small things like stationary, lamp, lamp shades, curtains, wallpapers and photographs etc with the same theme of dinosaurs. Buy blue bedding for the child that matches the surroundings, in addition you can buy small fish fabric and sew it on pillows, randomly on bed sheets and curtions. Buy pair of sheets, one for bedding and other to cover windows , cut it off and sew to the length of windows.

To add more effect rug in the shape of fish, octopus (you can also buy some soft toys like fish crabs etc) and hang any of them on a fish net in the corner and put some soft toys in the net.
